I like to think of maps as pages, or even chapters, from a book. They don't simply capture the geography, topography, etc. of a place--at least, that's not all they can capture. If you let them, maps reflect knowledge, values, beauty, time, and more. In short, maps capture story. And that is what my work is all about.
