Kate: A few days ago I participated in the Steamroller Printing Festival at San Francisco's Center for the Book. Alongside 29 other artists, I carved a piece of linoleum which was then used to make prints with a steamroller. These prints were sold as a fundraiser for the Center.
It's great fun to take on small, side projects, and to be involved in local art groups. This was also my very first time seeing a steamroller in process--they're kinda crazy and awesome!
